5-12-07 Montauk Fluke

Fish Caught: 3 Keeper Fluke 19.5"-20"; Aprox 30 Shorts

I dont think that anyone heading out had a clue it was going to be full contact fluke fishing on this trip.Left will calm seas and Bob Bradley, Mygirl, JimF and Ron on the boat.Snagged a bunker in the river and then had a nice ride to Montauk.


We arrived at slack and the tide started to move and the wind picked up... Soon it was blowing 15knots and we needed 10oz weights to hold the bottom. The seas were building too as the wind was from the east/southeast.We managed three keepers while getting bounced around.

We saw Fish Won out there picking up some fish. He was using the motors to combat the fast drift.
